I’m very particular about my desktops: just slightly representational and not too much blur. Have a feeling I’ll find a few for the rotation here.

Prettify* — Nice icons and wallpapers

I’ve been complaining recently on Twitter that there is no good place to find icons and wallpapers that appeal to my taste (read: very high quality design), so I started my own. I’ll be updating it when I find new icons and wallpapers I like.

I have at least a few weeks worth of content already backlogged and ready to release from recent findings.

Sounds like the design may have changed a bit, but the final outcome should certainly be interesting. With the whole economic crisis hitting all the rich stockbrokers and financial execs in New York (I’m sure it must feel like the apocalypse to them) this kinda reminds me of all of those dystopian (utopian?) futuristic images of cities and skyscrapers infused with greenery—vertical gardens, jungle-like canopies, etc. The thing that always struck me about those images was that they had a certain ambiguity to them; the greenery may have been introduced by man, but it felt somewhat invasive.
